What do your business cards look like?

Kinda reminds me of a Webpage with spammed keyword tags. Not necessarily a bad thing. I spent a lot of time just trying to read the small font-words as if I was doing a vision test.

It's called a tag cloud and that was the point, it's very clever.

Good point. Text needs to be readable by a variety of people. You don't want to have a card holder strain to try and read your card. That will subconsciously turn them off to you.

Who would you recommend as the best business card supplier out there? I'm looking for thick, matte cards. No cheap paper (Vistaprint, Overnight prints).

I heard gotprint was great?

I have used gotprint for several clients and myself and I would highly recommend them. You can order a free sample pack from them to get an idea of their quality and print options. I have never paid for faster shipping or rush printing and 8 days to my door in canada is the longest I have had to wait

I like the cards I got from gotprint, nice quality. They were a little slow for me so watch out if you're ordering on a deadline.

I don't think its a huge deal. I have always used g-mail and I have never had any issues. Eventually maybe I will make a business e-mail thats not g-mail, but for now it works. E-mail is e-mail. All goes to server in cyber space.

I tend to agree it just looks more professional to have a @yourdomain.com email and for the price I would just do it godaddy for a domain $12, free google apps account $0

Way too busy and difficult to look at. Looks like you're trying to be fancy for the sake of being fancy rather than having a design purpose for the oddness. Is that photo of you? Even if it isn't, I don't think it's a photo that should be used for a full card coverage.

And why is your website address not on your card?

get a domain, its 11 bucks a year at go daddy, and much more professional.
I think you can even use your gmail account with a custom domain name.

I would move your self portrait (which is a cool one i saw over in alien bee land :P)
over so the info bar isnt going across half your face clone background, or really just use marquee tool select the left side then cmd + t (ctrl + t) and free transform it, it shouldn't be noticeable at that small of a size

also custom domain is awesome, if you don't have a website you can just forward it to your facebook fan page
that way when you do get a website up, you already have a domain name, and wont have to re print cards you can just change it from forwarding to your fan page to going to your webpage really easily

went with vista print special (lol, thin cards) because will be moving to a different town in a year, which is sad... I give 275 a month includes all electricity/heat/water for a 360 sq ft studio about 19x19 foot studio
cellphone pics, low quality, but it has a very faint grey vignette on the cards
