I've actually downgraded my kit (sold the 70-200 f/4L, wasn't using it much). That money however is going towards a S100 when I can find one. I also just bought a 28-135 IS to use for events when I need more reach than my 24-60 gives me.


Sony A6000, 16-50PZ, 55-210, 35mm 1.8 OSS
Canon 60D, 30D

Last November for my birthday I got a SX130 IS...started playing with the dial and dang if I didn't want something more :) sooo this year for my birthday I got all the stuff in my sig :cool: now if I can just figure out how to turn this one on :confused:

A year ago..30D, 70-200 f/4 non IS, that's it.

Today - 1D II, 70-200 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 430EX, Alienbee B400, various light modifiers and accessories.

A year ago: 1D Mark II, CRAP for glass!!!
Now: 5D Mark II, 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 100L Macro, 1.4x..

and yes. it is night and day if I look at images from a year or so ago, and now...love this hobby/profession/"life​style"!!! :D

Only think that's changed in the last year is a 430EX II. I want more glass :(

Last year: Nikon D50/kit/niftyfifty, SB800

Last month : Canon 5Dc (Gripped), Sigma 50/1.4, AB800's, VBII, 430EXII

This month : Canon 5D2 (Gripped/Waiting for shipment), 50/1.8..

Sold everything to get out.. Got reinspired and ordered a 5D2..

Next up once my bank account recovers... 50L/AB800/VML..

Year ago i had Canon 550d with kit lens and 7D with 18-135mm + 70-300mmL and now i have D800 with 14-24mm f2.8, 28mm f1.8, 50mm f1.8, 70-200mm f2.8 vrII
but i still have Canon 550D and love it and miss 7D

Year ago 5D with 50mm 1.8 mk1

Now 5D with 50mm 1.2L nothing more.

A year ago, I had three cameras and 47 lenses, today, I have 8 cameras and 61 lenses. I have not learned to take good photos yet. However, If I get the 5DIII and the 24-70/2.8 II lens, I am sure I will be a better photographer, maybe even a professional. :)
