Preview of Gardens by the Bay, Singapore's rendition of Hyde Park/ Central Park.
Cost us over US$1000000000 ( !!!!! )
Please give constructive criticism, and if the images suck, just say they suck point blank, don't have to beat around the bush and use euphemisms etc. ;)

First is a unique idea but the gardens at the bottom are too dark and less saturated to battle for their place with that roof. Of the trees four is my first reaction fave.

Thanks for not just saying 'Great shots!' ;)
Suggestions noted, will try out with more saturation and brightness later on.

Looks like a massive, one-of-a-kind place where you could spend a week (or more) taking beautiful pictures. Those buildings have serious HDR possibilities.

Is it their intention to let the vines grow up into those surrealistic 'trees'?

I love the perspective of #3. If people weren't told where the shots were taken it would be fun to have them guess what they were looking at. I bet you'd get all kinds of different answers!

Nice work and sure you'll be back to give it another go. m2c:

1) There are (2) photographs crammed into (1) shot. Shot the roof as an abstract or shoot the complete scene. There is not enough of the gardens in the bottom of the image so they are a distraction. Overall, I suggest to rebalance the composition.

2) Overall pleasant image. White highlight in the back should be cropped off. There's an opportunity here to really focus on the exact arrangement of flowers that you want in the frame, as well as choose how they are arranged across the image. This image is nice, but it could be better.

3, 4, 5) I like the last three. Maybe just having some better lighting could improve the images. And did you use a polarizing filter for any of these? A slight twist might bring out the color that you want for the sky. Nice shots, though, with 4 being my favorite. What's really well-done is that people are not a distraction in the images -- I had to look hard to find any.

Looking forward to the next post on this place.
