How do I tone the face down so it don't look washed out?

Hi Killer, i just done this hope you dont mind, all i did was clone the bottom half of the face onto the blownout bits then turned the opacity down to about 30% and used the blur brush just to smooth it.

this is with CS5 by the way, hope this is the sort of thing your after.

need some input-- my wife is going to get me a flash for xmas and I orriginally wanted the Canon 430ex II that I have been playing with lately but now I found the Yongnuo 565ex and it looks like a
way better deal and can spend some of the extra cash on other gear. Anyone have expierence with these?

id definitely not hesitate for the YN flash.. love mine... and theat one looks really nice.. costs bit more than mine but not sure what new features it will give.. but must be some...

Oh, missed this.

I would definitely recommend the YN565 flash, I love mine. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it is about as heavy as our t2i body, so expect some additional weight.

So I brush over the light parts then move the slider and only that part will be altered right???????

Sorry KC. Yeah that's one way I'd do it. Unless anyone else knows a diffrent way.
