^Do you have the kit lens (18-55 IS)? Or are you comepletely lensless for now?

I had the kit lens first. Then I got the 55-250 to extend my range. Then I got the nifty fifty for fun and artsy stuff and because it's such a good value. I'm very pleased with my lenses. I'll likely upgrade the kit lens at some point, but I'm in no rush to.

Oh, and the 55-250 and nifty fifty I bought used from the classifieds here. I've bought lots of used stuff there -- it's where I would look first once you decide what you want.

I need to return some amount of my money back to the home so that is why i want to buy lens now only. Yeah i already have the camera with lens.
I am going through reviews and all. I really have tight work schedule and study time table atm , so i am not able to go to the market and try out lenses mentioned here. Next week, perhaps.

Good shots of Barcelona. Stopped by there on my way back from Italy back in 1960. (makes me kind of old doesn't it)

I've had my 1000D for a while now but to be honest I am still learning how to use it.

QUOTED IMAGE

I have some problems with exposure at the moment but at least with RAW images I am able to alter errors.

This reminds me of Madagascar the Movie! hahah

Hi all, I am new on here and have a 100d also, ita a fab camera. I am not great yet at taking pictures manually. I tend to like the av so i can open up the lens. anyway ihow can i avoid the blur, i can take a picture of my kids together and one is out of focus. Would i be better to use tv only. Also anyone have a flash, ie the Canon speedlite 430exii, i wonder is it worth the money or just fo for a cheaper option as i am not that keen on indoor shots. I find the build in flash is just awful on the camera.

I love it too. Just hold onto your wallet - tons of pickpockets everywhere. Spent too much time at the police station filling out a report.

Also in the trains/subways - but the city is worth the extra trouble to keep your stuff safe.

@brussel - I have the 430 EX II and used it on the 1000D and now on my 600D. It's so much better than the on camera flash, especially when utilizing the bounce head feature (where you can swivel it to the left, right or up). Still learning how to use it more creatively and effectively.
