^^ lovely squirrel pic. we don't have any left in england any more :(

Thanks. Here in Germany that is the majority of the squirrels we have...

Here a shot from today. I have taken quite a lot but I will need some time to look at the rest...

I prefer not to use noise reduction in most of the cases, because I do feel I loose a lot of details. In the above image I have not used NR. For a portrait shot maybe it is reasonable to do so sometimes...

P.S Is that her phone I see on the right side left with the leafs alone? :)

Thanks for the information on that product. I will try it out on other images I have, now that I know how it works...

Here a shot at ISO 1250 with some noise reduction from LR3:

I love these little animals (often called Tufty by my generation). Sadly we hardly see them any more in the North of England as the Grey squirrel has 'out squirrelled' them. There are a few in some of the bigger forests and Scotland still has some, but their numbers have declined sharply. Nice picture :)

Call me Amanda please :)

Scott - love the giraffe one. Great use of dropping the horizon to show that huge sky.

tonyniev...............Great shot of your paddle wheeler. My wife and I had the vacation of our lives on the Delta Queen and then she disappeared ??? She was a traveling museum supreme. She traveled through the heartland of America up the Mississippi to the Ohio to Pittsburgh Pa. and back every summer and then we saw her no more. I still value my dollar certification to play the steam calliope.

I have no pictures because I dropped my early digital Sony Mavaca overboard. That was my one sour note on the trip.

I love them too and I am always excited when I meat one and my camera is with me.
Thanks for the nice comment!
