Damn Todd - four and a half hours? What did you fall asleep in the car?

Love the way you came up with doing stair trails...

Thanks Chris.. yes.... I did. It was so damn cold, that I got lazy in getting single shot setups here and there... picked a couple of spots, did shorter time-lapse of those and then setup for the night at this spot, at about 1am... let it run until morning. Had an equipment malfunction after about 340 frames - fixed that (intervelometer was frozen from the cold! had to wrap it with a hand warmer) and then shot another 200 frames until the camera batteries died. Woke up and it was time to shoot sunrise... LOL

One of my favorite shots of the weekend... and maybe in recent times. For some reason I just really like the way this one worked out:

QUOTED IMAGE

I can see why... excellent work.
Also, the 4 and a half hour exposure is pretty damn awesome too.

A good photographer can take extraordinary photos anywhere, with any camera and any lens while a mediocre one will take mediocre ones everywhere, with every camera and every lens.
Never limit yourself with what others think you should do. Shoot what you find interesting, exactly the way you want to.

Do you have issues with dew and if so, how do you deal with it ?

Steve.

Morning dew shouldn't have any salt in it so it shouldn't affect the camera.
Plus, I'd imagine it was pretty damn dry where he took those shots.
