They did not charge the card yet or at least I don't think so. I'm getting it for the promotion price listed in the link that Tommydigi posted. Because the lens won't be back to B&H in time for the Dec 2nd cutoff I had to make special arrangements with the sales and customer service department to honor the agreement. It took a little time on the phone but B&H service is excellent and they made it happen.

I got that. How much credit for the 135L did they give you?

It was full credit on the amount I paid $1,014.00 since it was within the exchange period.

I have both... I originally sold the 135L to fund the 70-200 II but bought it back after about 9 months of going without it. I really missed it!

The zoom is more versatile, but the 135L is special. The bokeh is much better, no contest. The 70-200 with busy backgrounds can get ugly/dizzy looking. It's not bad by any means, but the 135L is superior. Plus, it is so sharp at f/2... I love it.

I like to have both... If I had to get rid of one it would be the 135L, but that does not mean I like it less. I would just keep the more versatile lens.

The 70-200 2.8 IS II lens came in this week and from the shots I've taken. I'm very happy with my choice to switch from the 135L. I got some amazing shots today from my son's basketball game.
