I shot a G3 and A640 for 9 years. I just got my 40D in Oct I believe, and feel I've entered the Modern World! Fantastic metal body with specs that exceed most Pro bodies I was around in the 80's/90's. The Old 40D is Like New to me. Besides, it's been years since I actually printed anything!

yup, 5D classic. Yearning for a more modern camera though, ISO capabilities of the new ones are incredible...but of course the 5D files are always great. Wish canon would get its act together and announce the 5D3 so the 5D2 will drop on the used market!

I just purchased an used 40D. Is the newer model of what i own today (please see my signature). I shot with 1Dmk2, 5Dc, 350D (Rebel XT). I'm very happy with my cameras, no need for new models.

Well to refresh what cameras i have, I do shoot with my 5Dc most of the time. My old specialty rangefinders, Canon A35F, Yashica Electro 35 GSN, Canon AF35M, and my most recently out of commission Canon AE-1 Program would be the bodies i use to fuel my film needs.

I'm happy with my dino bodies and that's all that matters to me. Now glass wise? I want more!

Shooting with 2 XTI's ... i'd rather have the 2 old bodies for less than the price of one new one

Bought a 5D classic a few months back to compliment my 7D and 1DMKIV. Love it too.

If a 20D counts as an old body, then yes I do. This is my only digital SLR and it is still going strong. I love this camera.
