Good film, but honestly I've seen the 5D do just as well.

It's OK if you like all that story telling, great visuals, excellent camera work and sound track stuff.

I was totally hooked until the very end when the two shots of the gun being pointed at the guys head. It totally destroyed the suspension of disbelief for me. The gun was tarted up AirSoft pistol. The barrel opening was a 6mm hole for shooting hard plastic BB's. And after taking several looks again at the gun, it looks like a plastic toy gun too.

It seems to me that if you are going to spend the kind of money that was spent to create this film that maybe someone in the props department might want to get something that looks like a real weapon instead of a toy.

Ticky tacky crit, I know, but here's the point. I'm no gun fanatic either. I happen to know about AirSoft guns because my son has a few. That last close up of the end of the gun was really lame and totally showed it out.

It's funny what will snap you out of enjoying a film. Vincent LaForet does some amazing work. Visually this was a really great film. It's just sad that it's a $30 toy that killed it for me.

I was also pretty sad about that 400mm f2.8L getting dropped on the road. But that's a totally different thing...

Great job! I only wish I had my popcorn ready.

Its cute. But I think it fails to showcase the camera capabilities as he did with Nocturne and Reverie. It is just another short film, with a cute twist at the end. I liked it, But I think it is a fail for marketing like the first two were so good at.

At first I agreed that the big increase in price wasnt worth while for the features it offered. Especially in that Mobius video. But then I saw this and was pretty blown away.

They had every right to shoot him for ditching that lens. And how did his digital camera work in the "Zona de Silencia"?

Thanks for posting this informative video. I love the focus puller and moire segments.

This camera offers the filmmaker a lot of shooting flexibility - lowlight run and gun, documentary work, etc. On the other hand, many current 5Dmk2/7D setups should hold their value for years to come in more limited shooting conditions. It depends on your needs.
