I have 2 8GB Cards. One is class 10 and one is class 4. It's actually overkill, but it's more for a backup card than needing more space. Like, if I forget to pull the card out of the computer after I dump pics. lol I would get a class 10, maybe 4GB at least if you plan on taking a lot of video. I usually dump 4GB of video/pics onto my laptop, and it flies off of it with the class 10 card.

Have an 8GB Sandisk and 16GB Lexar cards for my t2i, both class 10. The Sandisk has never had any problems with video, but the Lexar will stop after a mintue or 2. The Sandisk seems like it writes a little faster when I'm shooting RAW+JPEG. Think I'll get another 8GB Sandisk card, it's only a couple/few $$ more than a class 6 card.

Anyone know what the difference is bewtwen these 2 cards?

Went to a carshow awhile back. Here's a few I liked. Really impressed with the crisp images I'm getting from this great little camera. :-)

I mounted the S95 on a Gitzo tripod, set it to AV, self timer 3 sec. (to insure
sharp pictures by not touching the camera while taking pictures) set the
"bracketing" option to take 3 shots with 1/3 f stop and selecting Vivid for color.

After pictures were taken, I used Photomatix Pro 4 to fuse the pictures.

Picasa was used to reduce them to rez. 1600.

Here are the results...

Love it! Was this taken using the in-camera HDR feature?

I really liked this one.

Just that the wide angle distortion is noticeable. Sigh,.

No.. Canons HDR makes the picture after you take the pic.
This was created with the "bracketing option"
Set your S95 on AV and then hit the Func. Set button
A list on the left
ISO
WB
Colors
The fourth option is BKT-Off... Set it on AEB DISP> Takes 3 shots at different exposure.

Then I set the times on 3 sec. and took pictures. Three pictures at a time.

In Photomatix Pro 4 you can Bach process the pictures if you know the settings.
I like to play with the combine and fusion part so pictures can be vividly or
just have a hint of HDR. It is fun to create nice shots with a small camera.
