To that end Costco has carried Techlite Lumen Master cree flashlights for some time. You can get three for about $16 (instant rebate). 7D, 17-55mm f/2.8, IS USM; 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM; 500mm f/4, L IS II USM, Canon EF 1.4X III, EF 100mm f/2.8 macro L

To that end Costco has carried Techlite Lumen Master cree flashlights for some time. You can get three for about $16 (instant rebate). The latest version has changed some. They have done away with the 'low battery light,' which ironically drained the batteries in about 6 months. They also upped the brightness, claiming to have 200 lumens. Maybe, they're plenty bright. They are slightly shorter than the earlier version which means they are really compact. They did away with the so called focus. It didn't do much anyway. They still use three AAA batteries and still have a low light, high light, strobe and of course 'off.' Nothing fancy, pure function. I have them in every vehicle, camper, camera bag, atv, garage, emergency kit, etc. Yea, I have a bunch of em. The circuits in those costco lights are very inefficient. I would unscrew the tailcaps on the ones you don't use frequently to keep the batteries from going dead. Canon 60D, Canon 17-55mm f/2.8, Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS, Canon 10-22mm, Canon Extender EF 1.4x II, Canon 430EX II, B+W MRC filters, Pelican 1450 with dividers, Think Tank Digital Holster 10V2, 2011 Macbook Pro 15" i7 2.0 GHz 8GB RAM, Canon D10

My fav is the E2L outdoorsman. They take a beating and last for a long time. I really like the 2 stage button and battery life. I am also very partial to princeton tec. I have them in all my camera bags and keep them handy. They are tough, lightweight, cheap and last forever on a set of batteries. My fav is the Attitude followed by the impact II. In my opinion, the lower powered flashlights are much more useful in 90% of the situations I need, excluding weapon mounted lights. 1dm4, 5Dm2, and a bunch of other stuff.

It has a good interface and four usable levels of light topping out at 190 lumens. It isn't as bright as my Fury, nor as small as my old Fenix P1D, but it has been great for the first month of use. I think the $60 price tag is a good value. The picture below isn't mine.
