Damn, woke up 20 minutes too late, the brown truck has passed, he kept my new Macbook Pro i7 with him. Damn!

Also, I suck at photoshop :

Any tips?

The Picture looks great, Only you might wanna blur the background ever so slightly to mimic real DOF

Ah, I see. Reminds me of this: http://cedarrapids.craigslist.org/pho/2740037861.html (external link)
I was tempted, just so I could say I have a 1 series, lol.

The Canon 1D is a great camera... Quick and accurate autofocus and GREAT color, almost film like. Not to mention, I think it's the only Canon DSLR with the ability to sync to speedlights and strobes well over 1/250 due to it's "electronic shutter"

The 1D "Classic" has a following and there's a reason they can still bring $400-500, a lot of people would prefer it over the 20/30/40D... Don't let the 4MP fool you.

If they had Cars & Coffee around here I'd go to them. I'd rather be out and socializing with people than sitting inside on the computer all day.

I like the term "Cars and Coffee." Around here we call them "Cruise-ins." Some have up to 300 or so cars but we see very few of the exotics. Mostly antiques, classics and customs. During the summer; I visit 3-5 a week.

I like the way that Cars & Coffee is a fairly well organized shindig, and it's usually on Sunday mornings and is completely over by 9 AM. Even the most henpecked of men can get a kitchen pass for something like that :D

Tomorrow morning is cars and coffee here in tucson.
I may get time to go out and get some Ferrari. Lambo, Viper, Porsche pictures.

we'll see. they all park so close together it makes nice shots kinda hard.

Are we the only two here in Arizona? Thought I seen another, but could be wrong.

Eh...At least you're not in Oklahoma. There are exactly 4 people that know how to use the internet. And 3 of them do nothing but sell crafts on Craigslist.

Zack; just noticed; you're in Ohio but the tag says Maryland.

I spent last weekend cruising around the DC/Virginia/West Virginia area. Went on a little road trip with some friends and ended up at the drift event that I posted pictures of a couple days ago.

Well, I live in a town of around 30,000 people. It's very rare to see exotic cars coming to hang out with us fellow car guys. The only time I ever see them is when they come into my work. Most of the time the only time I hang out around cars are when I'm with my friends. But it gets pretty boring seeing, and photographing, the same cars over and over.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one from Ohio. haha

I was allowed one last go of my christmas present before santa took it back to wrap it. Nasty santa.
These were some of the results of the first real practice session. There were three geese landing behind each other in the third picture it has given a very weird effect.
I'm finding it's a completely different beast from my old 400D.

Ps no cleaning products were harmed in making these pictures.
