I am so impressed with the quality build of my C3540V tripod that I will order the HorusBennu FX-9538M Monopod.

Let me know if u order that FX-9538M monopod. I like to hear something about it. It looks quite good for the price. I'm really thinkin about order that..But maybe not yet.
Mine C-2540 tripod and LX-3 head came in Finland 5 days so I can say that delivery was pretty fast. I'm liking it. It's lightweight only 1549kg with the head.
Study of enough for mine 40D + 70-200mm F4 set up.
Monopod mode it wobbles a bit and that's why I'm thinkin about order that FX-9538M.

I got asked what the included plate looks like for the LX-5. Here are two cell phone snap shots just to show how they look. The material is a coated/painted metal and it has little textured rubber grips as an inlay.

Well, I made an offer on a FX-7529TT with FX-34Q ballhead. I wanted something light to travel with but also hold my 100-400.

I'm looking pretty hard at the C-2540TM with LX-3. Can anyone who owns it comment on how well the LX-3 does with a telephoto lens in portrait orientation? Does it sag? Realistically the biggest lens I see myself buying in the future would be a 70-200 f4 - does it seem like this setup would be able to handle a 30d with a 70-200 f4 in portrait orientation?

Have people been generally happy with their purchases? Any regrets so far? I read somewhere that someone was complaining that the panorama panning was a little sticky one the LX-3 - has anyone found this to be true?

I like mine. LX-3 is a gem. No sag with either of my long lens. Very smooth.

My offer of $280 was accepted. I took standard shipping. I still have five weeks before my trip, so I should get it in time, I would expect.
