I guess I'm lucky? lol LOVING this session I had tonight with this beautiful senior girl. I usually wait until I have more done before I share, but I couldn't resist putting a few up tonight. She was just gorgeous! I just got into these and am going to have a heck of a time narrowing them down (I'm the worst over-shooter ever). I'm loving how these turned out. I found some new locations within 5 minutes of home too...awesome! It's amazing how you can drive right past amazing spots hundreds of times and not even notice. These were shot with a variety of lenses. I used the 50mm, 16-35L, 85L, and 70-200L II. Everything was shot using natural light and my white reflector here and there (mainly the back lit shots).

That would be her SMILE, and I happen to think it's beautiful. I have other photos of her with different expressions...just haven't edited them yet. But thanks for the comment anyways.

Lisa what I love about your work (among other things) is that I can tell how much leg work you've put into finding great locations. That's such an oft-underestimated part of this kind of portraiture and sometimes when we see it here it is just taken for granted. Especially impressive are the lush greens and golds you seem to have a knack for finding out there in the desert

^^^ Thank you so much! I appreciate the comments AND I appreciate the CC, so long as it's not delivered as nothing more than a smart assed comment. Joe, I'm happy you noticed my locations...I pride myself on finding a variety of places to do my sessions. We are in what can only be described as a 'small, brown town' so finding different looking places to incorporate in my sessions is something of a game to me. We go for drives on the weekends a lot, and my husband is a UPS driver (he's found at least half of my spots). I love using places that not every other photog in town is using.
