My wife came up with the idea of wrapping the boys in lights for this years Christmas card. I like the way they turned out.

Great shot.

I'm not an alarmist by nature (I don't think), but I did want to point out that Christmas lights have been targeted by some consumer advocacy groups as being dangerous for kids because of high levels of lead. I tend to think that casual exposure as pictured here is not a big deal, but thought it might be worthwhile to post this link to a news piece:

My wife and I love this type of picture and want to do something like it this year with our 2 girls. I was curious if you could share the settings that you used to take the shot? I am very new to photography and just recently bought a canon t3i for us to start using to take our own family pics. Thanks.
