Thought I would share one from a recent family shoot...it's been a while since I've posted. C&C is always welcome. I just want to improve now that business is starting to pick up a little!

Crops are a bit too tight for me, but the lighting is top notch. Great work!

Nice work. What plate are you using to mount your vagabond II?

im not, i use the step in the cinestand to rest it on, and then use the clip straps on the vagabond and then just wrap the shoulder strap to one of the knobs as a secondary precaution.

I hope you do not mind me offering some tips here...

Here is what I would do to improve this image:

1. Move away from the background so it is not so distracting.
2. Move the light to the other side of the camera, that should remove the glare from the glasses.
3. You will also need to watch the reduction in the eye size, through the glasses, this can be corrected in photoshop, but it isn't that much fun...

Thank you. I think all it needs is a hair light which I don't have. I have no one to sit for me to practice.

Some of the guys on here use mannequins to practice their light on.

You just have to brush her hair occassionally and keep the hair well away from pet animals like dogs...

...apparently.
