switch it to jpeg photos and see if you get the same results.. if you get better results on the jpeg format then it's most likely the speed of the card.

The 7D has enough buffer for about 15 RAW files and, of course, many more JPEG files, so it shouldn't be slowing down that fast no matter what card is in there.

That being said, the only time I've had mine slow down like what has been described is when lighting is really poor.

Is the battery fully charged? On mine when the battery gets low the burst rate slows way down.

When that happens next time, bang it against a wall. It will work definitely :p

On a serious note, this is a very sophisticated camera (5DII is nothing, I agree it has better IQ). Try to learn how to use. MOST of the time its the user's error.

Are you seriously claiming the 7D has better IQ than the 5D2?

Sounds like he is saying the 7d has more features and is more sophisticated, while the 5d has less frills but better IQ.

I don't know, I own/owned both and had no trouble figuring out the 7D. For real fun play with the 1D4 or soon to be released 1D X.

So did you figure out the shutter count yet? Was it brand spanking new?
