BTW MIL's pathology report from surgery showed the cancer where they suspected and what they took out, the other stuff taken out was clean as were the point nodes they removed.:D The chemo will start again after Christmas to hopefully zap any free roamers. A lot of answered prayers, thus far.

Great news....hope for continued improvement. :)

Neat shot!

We actually got two couches last year. We HAD to replace two that were trashed. We got some Ikea crappy boring ones but at least they are new. I would love to decorate but it's not in the cards right now. Your place always looks so nice.

I like it.

A plan! :) Thanks Dan, I can stop hitting F5 now.

And you got it in camouflage too :-)

Not really - snow around here tends to be white for the first 30 milliseconds. After that it's a lovely shade of browny-grey.

Oh and I sent an email yesterday, a decision hasn't been made yet! There have been huge public meetings for an education referendum going to the voters in January and a large parcel of vacant land being developed here, so I think I was lost in the turmoil. ::whew::

Better to be lost than abandoned. Here's hoping!

I wanted to go to the place where you cut them down yourself but Eli was horrified by the prospect, lol!!! When we went tot he lot to get one he wanted the scraggly charlie brown tree because he felt bad for it. Finally convinced him this one was scraggly enough as it needed a good portion of the lower branches cut off.

Better watch out - he might give up his normal human ways and become a pure carnivore. But that's still saner than a vegan.

so I'm taking my mom up to my aunt's house tomorrow and want to bring a movie for us all to watch. Do you all have any recommendations? My mother is 77, aunt is 87.

Sound of Music? My Big Fat Greek Wedding? I'm sure they've seen 'em both, but those films do have staying power.

Good, except for a "Chip In" Potomac Pekes had to start for a surrender with back problems - couple of bad discs. He's fixed up now, but the vet still needs to cover his costs. A comp PVPC calendar (external link) doesn't quite cover it . . .

Perm - our neighbors are getting a Springer pup sometime in Feb. - current age around 3 days. Any advice based on hyper-caffeinated laddie and Miss Disaster? They've got a couple of young (we did Greece in '06, so the older must be around 5) boys . . .

Pretty much a side effect of his particular way in life, often himself feeling like the unwanted tree, a little projection goes a long way...in more ways than one apparently!

Awww. Could he do summer work on your brothers fishing boat? That would be a great experience and I bet teach him a lot.
