This is such a Brilliant shot…………!!!
May I ask…..what alternative ( full frame) you have in mind after 5Dc….? and I am NOT talking about 5DII….!
regards…Arman.

If he plans on staying Canon, the only other FF in Canon's line would be the 1Ds/x series.

Hey Arman, thanks and Geeky's right, I will most likely skip the 5D II for now as I don't see any significant difference in IQ. My next FF will definitely be inside a newer 1D body. BUT I don't see myself selling my beloved 5D in the near future. regards!

Here's some more from today's shoot.

Another brilliant shot………… and I am loving your WORK….!!!
Thanks both of you for your answer.

You known why I am asking this question…..? I already have a 1dsmkIII and it’s a Brilliant FF body from Canon….. BUT…. I like my 5Dc More……..!!! call me whatever you want to call me…. but that’s the truth. Don’t get me wrong 1ds is the reason I’m using Conon otherwise I would have chosen Nikon.

12MP is all I need from a DSLR…and I believe 12mp ( I may be totally wrong) is the “Sweet Spot”…… of course 5D’s will never be as fast as 1D series but I am totally happy with what 5Dc can DO. I rarely use the center point on my 5D and I rarely miss a Shot.

My point is…… WHY do I have to spend $K on a FF body when I am totally satisfied with the OLD classic 5D…? I will say the same thing about Nikon D700…;
with kind regards….Arman.

Lovely shots everyone! For what it's worth, i'm selling mine if anyone is interested in picking one up for a back up or what not. Moving onto the 5DII because i'd like the higher ISO capability. Will include the grip, four batteries, charger, and two straps.

A few shots from a show i shot last weekend.

Haha! I'm still unsure yet. Seems like i'm having a tough time trying to sell it and if it doesn't move, i might just pick up a canon 50mm f1.4 and give it to my gf to learn on. A part of me wants to get rid of it (possibly to replace it with a more pocketable Fuji X100) and another part of me doesn't. I really enjoy the "film" like grain it produces at high ISO. I just feel like the mark II would help me out a bit more in shooting low natural light and the video is what i'm interested in again.

Fair enough!

I find it to really be suiting my needs. I'd love a MarkII but can't afford that yet.

5D + 50 1.4 is marvelous. done some of my best work with that combo. I will likely get another 50 1.4 soon.

your club shots came out pretty nice.

Thanks ! compared to yours, nahhh haha. I shot most of those with the 35mm f1.4 and the sigma 50mm f1.4. manually focusing in the dark is insane, but got some interesting shots :)

yeah from time to time. helped out a lot. though i wish i had a canon 580ex or higher end flash so i can do high speed sync (is that possible with the 5Dc)?.
