My Wife found some old shoes that have never been used and they don´t fit our children anymore so she took som pics with her phone for an add, and as we all know on this forum that doesn´t cut it so I gave it a try.

The setup

Here is my attempt and first posting of a picture and setup in here.

The picture you may recognise from a thread in 'Nature & Landscapes' but when going through my iphone, I realised I had taken a photo of the setup (only a tripod but a setup none the less...!) so here it is...

The result has been slightly edited, mainly just to black and white.

Setup:

Result:

QUOTED IMAGE

Thanks.

I love this.. I actually felt the cold and isolation from this photo...

OK, I'm not gonna lie... your kid looks dead. Super weird pose.
Poisoned milk perhaps?

I agree...not the best posing. I know you were going for sleeping, but you overshot.

Fiddle faddle.

Great shot and one that you'll treasure for years to come. And, LOL... I bet that most who says your baby looks dead have never had a child or they would know that is what a baby looks like for about the first 3 months or so. And in most cases, you're glad when they are like this because if they wake up, they've either messed themselves, need feeding or both.

Very interesting to see such a simple lighting set up, I must become more creative after seeing that.

Lovely shot of your child, well done and something to be very proud of..!

Mark

That's it!

+1

Its hard to overshoot sleeping when the baby is actually sleeping :) Only thing I would change though is the plate of cookies and the milk. Theres something about the way the plate is propped up on the babies arm that doesnt feel right in my opinion.

Great result mate, well done..!

X2

clean and simple. Great stock shot. You could sell this pretty easily.

Sometimes the simplest setups can create magic. The trick is learning how to do this all the time and people will be amazed at your abilities.

Again, great shot, well executed.
