Yeah I thought that's why they weren't price matching when Amazon sold out but people said they weren't price matching even when it was in stock. Guess I got lucky.

Really can't regret my purchases now, I was on the fence, knowing a new 35 and 5d3 is probably coming soon.

Same here. Was able to get them to price match at $1099 after buying it for $1255 two days ago. At these prices I definitely cant complain. Awesome sales this season. I picked up everything I wanted on sale over the past month. My wallet is not happy though....and probably my wife when she finds out. :D

I got the same person as CanonGrl01. Shneur O. I talked to him this morning and he said no joy. Then I chatted again when the price was down. He said he was going to contact me again later today before I initiated another chat and got him again. He matched the price (though I don't see the credit anywhere yet.)

The EF-S 10-22 is still 649.00 at B&H ---- or 649.99 at Amazon.

Price wars are to our benefit so I'm not going to complain that I bought my copy for 709.00 back in March, because I made up the difference on other great sales this year.

B&H probably had someone on Amazon constantly hitting the refresh button waiting for it to go out of stock.

It had been out of stock for quite some time at Amazon when I got the 1,099 price at B&H.

Again, no, because I got it price matched way after amazon was out of stock, and when it was in stock, they weren't price matching this morning. Not sure what's going on over there.

It seems it equates to the luck of the draw at the time you spoke to a rep in chat when they credited you. Personally speaking, I think B&H should credit back all those who contacted them prior to Amazon going out of stock today, or while B&H offered it at the same price, or their price matching policy (if there is one) is questionable at best.

I agree. I saw the deal on Amazon around 6am PST with some units in stock. Folks were already trying to get price adjustment and were denied.
When I checked at 7am they were out. Checked BH around 830am and they changed the price and I called in and was able to get my price adjustment. Now the deals over. Everyone who called in and was promised a call back prior to deal being over should be reimbursed.

I'm told we are price matching but my inbox is about to explode, so please bear with us.......

Then it's odd they matched it at all. I'm surprised they still have the 16-35 in stock at Amazon, that price probably won't be seen again.

By the way, I had to call Adorama on the dreaded backordered accessory issue and twice I was disconnected with the message that they had an excessive call volume. Wonder why? :D
