How carrying your 70-200?

I have problem for carrying 70-200 ISII, its too heavy/long lens and I don't like to use normal backpacks .
If you have experience for use shoulder harness or sling back packs please help me to select or share your bags/lens case photos.
I need an easy access able bag for walking long time. I'll carry just 1 SLR body, one walk-around lens like 17-85 or 24-105 and 70-200 IS II also maybe 1 speedlight and no more things.
If I select shoulder harness which model is better and which lens case is good?
If I buy sling like lowepro slingshot 202 can I put 70-200 IS II on it?

Get a dual strap backpack. A single shoulder pack gets sore easy with a 70-200 is mk2.

TT Retro 10 is my choice. Easily carries body with 17-55 attached (hood reversed), 70-200 (hood reversed, 580EX II, nifty 50, varius cables and remote with spare batteries, charger, CD reader, etc.

Carries nicely cross shoulder for all day excursions.

I had the same problem with a 100/400 in that I found it too heavy to carry around,indeed I was getting to point of selling it as I was not using it.
Solution-Black Rapid RS-7 to carry the camera and lens when in use and a lowepro Minitrekker 200AW to carry the rest of the gear,if needed.
This will happily carry a 5D,24-105 and a 100-400+580EX to where I want to be then I just sling the camera and relevant lens on the BR and all is well.
BTW I used to have a slingshot but found it very uncomfortable,much prefer a backpack,its a personal thing you might find a slingshot fine.

I think its not good idea for long time walking.

For carrying a long lens when not mounted on a camera body: padded belt + lens case, such as the Lowepro padded belt & lens case.

I carry mine attached to camera in my Retro 10 but it's not ideal for all day shooting. Looking to get an F-stop backback for it.

70-200 2.8 attached to the body is a tight fit in Retro 10. Retro 20 or Lowepro Messenger Pro 180 could be a better choice. All day walking could be a problem with any shoulder bag. I personally don't have any issues carrying it for hours attached to BR-Sport sling strap.

Slingshot 302AW holds it all no problem. As for shoulder strain. Going to depend on your shoulder. I walked a few miles the other night with the 70-200 and a full bag of lenses + 2 speedlights etc. No issues here.

Retrospective might depend on how your body is built. I personally have my Retrospective 30 loaded to the max somedays. When fully loaded it's not any more or less comfortable than my backpack. Where I'm walking and what I'm doing determines which bag I use.

The Slingshot 302 AW also has a padded waist belt which makes it more comfortable to wear .

I got Lowepro S&F Light Utility Belt. and 2 lens case 1 for 70-200 1 for 24-105 . Also a body bag 100 AW.
Its very easier than backpack in short travels and walking for long time.
Best point is fast access to lenses.

I went with the Think Tank belt system last year and really like it. There are times when I use the Domke F2 but my shoulders regret it later.

For walking around days I use the Think Tank digital holster 10 for just the 60D and one lens. The bag expands and will take the body with the 70-200 f/4 IS with hood reversed. If I'm taking a second lens I use the TT whip it out for the 70-200 mm. I just got the black rapid sport strap, so that may change things up a bit.
