Hi guys,
Fancy criticising some of my pics?
They are heavily cropped because of the old "no professional camera palaver" so I just carried the nifty fifty on, it was a stretch to get images that were good enough to share here.
I would appreciate some comments and pointers for future gigs
Thanks

4 images here and few more in my flickr set

Pretty good for a first try I'd say. That second one is great.

I'd straighten #1 and lighten the face in #3 a bit.
#2 is very nice, but #4 is OoF I think (and the least of the lot).

Thanks! I will straighten that first one indeed (how do I still miss these thing!!)
I agree that the 4th one is not up to standard - I will get rid of it altogether - unless I can replace it.

as for the "face" I may increase a little bit - I like that one precisely because it is very dark .....
thanks a lot for your comments, I really enjoy the whole gig-photog combination - I hope to improve on it.

These were shot at a very high ISO and I am not sure I would be able to get some of the blacks back without a lot of noise appearing. I will have a go in a couple of days and post the result on these comments

Really great for the first try. Only thing you might want to try is lighten up the face a bit in #3 and also try a slightly closer crop in #2.

Buen trabajo

Nice set.
To the first one, it need to be rotated slightly
The second one is fantastic (the best of the tree that can I see). Reduce slightly the black and it will be fantastic
On third, could you lighten the guitarrist's face?
Respect to the fourth, Flickr says you have removed it
I guess I'm not original on my comments

That's your first try?

Damn, I hate people like you.

My first try was so bad I should've been arrested for littering.

They're pretty damn good for a first attempt at concert photography.

And, I'll agree with what others have said. That second shot is sweet...

I like the "moodiness" of #3, and getting those shots with a 50 mm, great job.
