Dec 23, 2011 11:35 | #848 I'm always amazed at the output from Zeiss optics, colour and contrast and detail are really remarkable. I have a number of top end Ls (85 1.2, 35 1.4, 135 2.0 and the 24 TSE II) and although all of them are very very good at what they do I always fine the Zeiss renditions just that bit better. As good as they are they only one I would consider replacing with the Zeiss equivalent would be the 35 1.4. Sony A1, A7R2

Jose, great shot of the buds in your poinsettia. One of my dogs just tried to eat the poinsettia here. I will try to continue with the winter/christmas theme. WoW what a great shot David, Love the processing, has a antique polaroid tone to it. Sony A1, A7R2

Zeiss lens seems to have a smoother transition from clarity to bokeh. It doesn't jump out at you. It's more smooth and buttery. It's just different. I find the Canon Prime produces some beautiful bokehs too, just different. http://www.flickr.com/trefleenor
