Santa brought me a Sigma 17-50 OS; initial shots taken look good. Maybe a tiny bit of back focus at 17mm 2.8, but I doubt I will ever notice it unless pixel peeping 100%

Girlfriend bought me one of them... the look on mums face when i opened it and thought it was an actual lens was absolutely brill.

No actual lenses but got a new bag and a rocket blower

Yes, an EF 28-200mm f3.5-5.6 lens for my 5DM2. It was originally introduced in the US market back in Sep 2000 with a msrp of 72,000 Japanese Yen; converted to today's value at US$924. Received it from Adorama on 23 Dec. I've tested it against my EF 24-70 and concluded the image quality is not as sharp but the zoom range is ideal for most of my shooting. In the recent past most of the images printed were 4x6 and a smathering of 11x14.
