Based on the pin-up type shooting, you wouuld want a flatter more "vintage tone". which I think you pulled off nicely. The second edit seems a bit too colorful and contrasted. Just my opinion though. Thanks Drew, I would agree. I prefer a little flatter look as that is what I am trying to achieve as a "painted pinup" look. I always like to learn though... Scott I S2Imagery

Of course, it is all a matter of opinion and personal taste. I am by far a professional and this is strictly a personal opinion. I have been taking courses with NAPP and been applying those to the photography I do. I have never done PIN UPS but hope I do someday. Now, images are always subject to personal preferences but the important thing is WHAT DID YOU WANT TO CONVEY FROM THIS IMAGE. If you wanted a vintage look, I would agree your original image is a bit more vintage than the one I edited and would agree with AE_Photography's comment.

I was going for more vintage, faded look, but still with pop. Like I said Scott, it's all a question of personal taste. I wish I had the lighting equipment and space to do Pin Ups. I find your image to be very good, very sharp but just a bit to blow out.
