I know that winter has officially arrived when these birds show up in my backyard. It seemed like it took a long time this year for these to arrive.

Yellow-rumped Warblers (a first-time capture for me!)

Excellent set Steve, you have some excellent shots of the butterbutts, I have only seen them a few times here but they were almost always moving, fast and low to the ground, you have them posing for you, Well done indeed.

Pretty pastels in the first two Steve, great to see such nicely composed shots of the warblers and kinglets, I especially enjoy the first image... heartwarming to see the warblers on a -4 below zero night ;)

Wonderful series you have there Steve! The small fella always tests my fast finger(or lack thereof). Wish i could get nice photos of him like yours. :)
