That 70-200 seems well used ;)

Let's see some of PA now!

Surprisingly, it's only missing a little paint there around the lens mount. The rest of it is in fairly good condition. Got it for a bargain, so I can't complain. The glass is in perfect condition.

Here's a quick look out of my window of where nifty will be staying.

I have finally heard from EitHeL.. He is presently in Hong Kong and when he returns to the US he assures me he will pass Nifty on to someone down the line. No, he didn't give me a timeline.

I was shooting my dad's gun collection tonight, and nifty came in handy. Here's my Grandfather's 1911 service pistol

An update on nifty currently in my possession....I'll be shipping it to the next on the list today or Monday. Hopefully I'll get some time this weekend to get a few pics up. Happy new year everyone.

Nice shots! New weapons are nice but I love the look of a well used Colt. I love how almost all of the bluing is worn away! The grip is rather interesting!
Nice view out the window too!
Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEEEEEEEEEAR!

Nifty unfortunately didn't get to see the fireworks down at the Harbour. And I also forgot to take some photos of the delicious meal I cooked! It was very poor form! However, we went out for a drive this arvo and drove out to the West Head which looks over a few of the beaches.

Not all was wasted on the celebrations though, this is the Harbour Bridge with the colourwheel going. I can't remember what the "theme" was, but it made some interesting patterns.

Nah, I don't think they're poisonous. They have a hell of a bite though apparently! And yes, they're not exactly the friendliest reptile in the world. :p

Nice shots!
They're not poisonous but they have a lot of nasty bacteria in their mouths that can cause an ugly infection!

These guys are about the only ones you'd want to keep as pets. Common water dragons

IMAGE: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3244/3279752821_45e85b5773_b.jpg

We have a whole family living in my Mum's yard. They hang out by the pool...They're also pretty scared so they tend to shy away and run off if they feel threatened unlike goannas.

Oh, and as big as that guy (yes, a guy, he has a red neck) looks, he was pretty small. About 50cm from memory. :)

If it's done properly, I don't see a problem with it. The problem is when people try to carry the illegal animals and end up killing them all.

Aaaaaaaaand in saying that, our pool filterbox has killed about 4 in the last few years. They swim through the one way door and end up drowning. :(
