The shutter on my 30D in pooched. What's the best place in the GTA to get it repaired. I'm in Durham, so east is better, but it's a quality job I really want so I'll drive for that.

I'd like to pass on the camera to one of my kids for starting out.

Why not just take it to Canon in Mississauga? Nobody knows your Canon better!

How long does it usually take for cleaning?

Also, do they only clean the sensor or do they clean other parts as well?

I have a speck stuck to the focusing screen, and not sure if it's something I can clean myself safely....

I'm a newbie/hobbyist out in Cambridge till the end of august, I'm always interested to learn from others or just go around shooting if anybody interested. Would love to help out in anything if a 2nd shooter is needed
