It has an artistic vibe, but to me it would have been better if it were in focus. Also watch the rule of thirds and I'm not sure I like the head tilt either. 6.5/10

__________
Took this one of my cousin two days ago, my Grandma wanted pictures of all of her grand kids. This one was my favorite from the bunch.

8/10. A decent portrait, sharp and good pose for grandma. Only thing I'm not sure of is the use of what looks like cross-processing. Good for old fashion shots, and possibly younger kids, but this guy I am not so sure. :)

I'm giving it a 9/10. I love the contrast and the artistic use of B&W. Great sharpness and detail. This is something I always wanted to try. Here's mine...

Jim

Thanks!

8/10 - The Camel shot is definitely technically a sound shot indeed. Exposure is dead on and everything is in focus in the right spots!! My only complaint is the composition. I feel like the rest of the camel should be in the shot to capture the magesty of these animals.

ICY SUNRISE IN THE WINDY CITY...

Woke up randomly this morning at 530 and I couldnt fall back asleep no matter how hard I tried. I cant put my finger on it, but something was telling me to bundle up and head out into the cold, so I got up and headed out. I was rewarded by one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen Chicago!!! Totally worth it IMO!!!

I just checked out your link......You have some incredibly beautiful photos. I love the last one with the long exposure and the water crashing against the wall while the city behind it looks so bright and clean.

6/10 Not a big fan of the pose. Otherwise it's a nice photo.

Couldn't decide on Color or Black & White. I'll leave it up to the next person to pick one they like or critique both. :D

Ingerson, excellent photo. Composition and exposure are spot on, lots of detail, and perfect shutter for effect on the dust. 9/10.

Excellent dynamic capture...caught the dirt from behind nicely. Got to be a 9 or 9.5/10 :)

Neat subject, but seems a tad bit on the dark side (on my laptop though, so may be off here)
8/10

9/10. Details are great! Everything is nicely in focus, and the bokeh is also great. Good photo.
