I've seen a couple bobcats at the local nature preserve, but they've always been in the deep shadows, covered up by brush, so I've never had a good shot of one till this morning. Went out to the preserve with my family and there were a couple cats out hunting...it was cool, watching them jump through the brush, hearing them yowl at each other. Managed to get these shots:

Well done. Excellent shots. Like you, I've seen bobcats but so fat I haven't succeeded in getting any shots.

Nope. Only gave them one pass with smart sharpen, then faded the luminosity.

Actually, now that I look at it---I think you did a fine job adjusting the lighting on the cat, but I'm not sure you needed to alter the background the way you did. I, for one, prefer the original bg.
