This is one I shot a few years back in the basement at Alcatraz Prison in San Francisco. Used a Canon Powershot G10, handheld, +/- 2EV, processed in Photomatix Pro.

I did this one just a few days ago with a Canon Powershot S100, tripod mounted. It's in a grove of Redwood trees in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It's pretty extreme HDR, but I think that works for this shot. Again, 3 exposures, +/- 2EV, cooked in Photomatix Pro 4.1 and then a little tweaking in Photoshop CS4.

We have had a great couple of days of beautiful weather here in Chicago with some amazingly dramatic skies!!! Heres a few from yesterday and today... All of these were compiled from multiple exposures and I tried to make them as realistic as possible...

Very nicely done!!! I'm wondering only slightly about the amount of color (on the rocks) in the very first one, but the rest are really nice. While I love #3, the last one is just oh so perfect to my eyes. Congrats!

Thanks guys!!!! Gary, the the pink light reflected off the clouds and gave everything the pick hue, so it was true to the scene.. once the sun came up a bit more and the pink disappeared in the sky, it also disappeared off the rocks... I have a 3rd image to the set on my website that was before the sky turned pink.. Everything was orange... It was really cool in person!!!!

Lovely photos, Akrobatiks.

The sunrise one, in particular, is superb.
