These were done back in July, but I haven't posted anything in ages, so here's a sample of my second day at Japan Expo (biggest Japanese pop culture event in Europe, first week-end of july).
I'm part of an association and we ran a studio for the four days. We offered 15-minutes minishoots to attendees (they just had to be in costume and book in advance to get a shoot).
On friday we had a black background, and a harsher light than usual. I really liked this setup, the photos are less plain than the usual, and post-processing is easier than with the white paper we used on the other days.

Here are sample images of my own shoots :

Nice set! I love the lighting on these. Coincidentally, I just came back from Japan's Comiket at the end of the year and have gotten around to editing them.

Sadly, I'm not familiar with any of the cosplay characters you posted.

Thank you !
I would probably hate to shoot at the Comiket... too many other photographers in the same area, and I like to shoot alone with the cosplayer :/
