Well http://www.lexar.com …s-first-1000x-memory-card (external link) 1000x cards are available so older cards will likely be on sale.

Just got an e-mail saying Adorama is back ordered. Might cancel and go with B&H...

Also just ordered from B&H. Hard to beat the deal. I see 4GIG cards for sale on the buy/sell thread in the near future.

I think the difference is that it has recovery software bundled with it.
t
If it is truly a discontinued item, I'm curious how it's going to pan out with me and Adorama, how will they fill my order.. I decided that I didn't need it right away and kept my business with them, rather than canceling and going with B&H.

Hummmmmmm

I was on the fence having just bought a bunch of other crap. Went to order and they were gone but it happened for a reason and there will be more deals so give it a bit for 1000x to hit the store shelves. Pretty soon they will have the singles marked down to clean out old stock or toss up a rebate incentive. With to many of the older cards on the shelves nobody is going to cough up bigger bucks for faster cards and Lexar knows it.
