its funny how closed-minded this thread is compared to the 5D one. they welcome HDR's with open arms, hell they even are ok with photo manipulations / composites! it's really more a question of what you are creating with your camera, over there.

Digital how did you get the washed out look? To me it looks like an old timey poster (except its to detailed) pretty neat.

Also fat ducks are fricken adorable up close, why cant we fat people look that great?

I used a filter in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2. I tweaked it a bit but the filter did most of the work. Are you saying it's too detailed and takes away from the overall effect? I was careful not to oversharpen or add too much contrast. The source photo was an HDR to begin with. I really am enjoying Silver Efex though. Thanks.
