They don't do "Hypersync". They do however do HSS, and it works as if the speedlite was on your camera.

The Odin will do Hypersync similar to the Kings, I explained this in the Odin thread. But like the Kings there is no timing adjustment so I would like to hear what results other people are getting with various gear (it all varies with camera and lights used).

Just place the TCU in HSS mode and set the camera to anything above 1/250th. Then connect a flash via PC cord to the receiver set to full power. Or place a fully manual speedlight on the receiver hotshoe (set to full power).

Just bought these. I sold my PW TT5s after receiving the odins.

Were the PW TT5s giving you any problems?

Yes, not only the RF noise problem- they were also quite buggie. They would over expose 1 in 10 shots in ETTL. Almost as if the flash was doing a full dump. They also didn't offer the ease of use of the odins.

So it's a matter of trial and error finding the max sync? I'm pretty new to hypersync and didn't know it could be implemented without an adjustment.

Yes its trail and error, but it only a takes a few minutes to see how lucky you are.

You can even do this without a hypersync enabled trigger, if you look a this recent thread from page2, post #23, if you have an optic slave handy you can try it yourself and follow along with the argument :-)
