Would love to shoot women models in the nude and various stages of undress. I've been with my wife for now 22 years, never cheated on her but she also knows me too well. She knows that I'd be still having very dirty thoughts about these women even though I wouldn't actually do anything. Ha! Its impossible, something I just can't turn off.

In order to pull this off and convince the wife I wasn't going to bang the model I would have to have like 5-10 other guys standing around as well...

My wife does not have a problem with it. I brought her along on a shoot the first time and she got into it with helping the models, light relocations, etc. Now she can't wait for the next shoot. She told me that she did not want me shooting nudes but implied is ok. Had a couple of models at one shoot go topless during one set, wife just laughed and commented on the photos. Couldn't ask for a better wife.

I have resistance

Wifey not happy about me shooting attractive women

Of course she knows I am mature and responsible enough to do the job, but she doesn't trust the female model.

^^ does she think the model is going to tie you up and rape you then? If she trusts you, then that should be the end of story.

all pretty funny to me, never had a problem here, been doing figure drawing for years as well, always with nude models. The idea of something going on during a shoot is rather bizarre to me, a photographer getting into it with a model would risk his reputation quickly and for ever, a model hitting on the photographer would not be in business long either. There's this internet thing that has stories like that spread like wildfire if they should happen...

And the attractiveness? Yes, models are usually much more attractive than "regular" people. That's why they are models, not gardeners. They work on their bodies, they learn about posing, it's their profession to look great on camera or at least try to. Simple as that. Somebody being jealous of how a model looks has some personal insecurities to take care of I think.

If you go to a doctor, don't you select the best you can find? Banker? Baker? Employee? I don't see a difference there. I work with professional models so I get professional results, not so I can look at naked girls. I'd go to a strip club for that kind of looking.

Might add to note: I don't shoot anything one could see as "porn", no spread shots and all that. I'm simply no interested in that kind of work, there are billions of such images online already, why bother? I try to create artful (to me) images and work with the models in capturing their art. After all, I just click the shutter, they do most of the work.

If my wife ever would have a problem, come along and watch the session. Otherwise I'm really not gonna ask, as all the assumptions of what might go on are simply silly IMO. She aint jealous if a doc does the yearly prostate exam on me either, LOL.

It's simply a trust thing and common sense. If you were to stray, would you announce that you're gonna hang with a naked girl for the next couple of hours?

Now, if you are into shooting more racy/porny stuff, then I can see her point, but I doubt many porn producers are happily married or married at all, those few aside who are married to their star performer. It's a different world I guess :-)

Anyway, just my 2ct :-)

She does trust me, but she feels that some women can be quite overpowering and have their way.

I would try to resist, notice I mentioned TRY!

A great example is last year I was on a job shooting guests at tables. Cut it short, there was a table with absolutely gorgeous office admin girls, average age 24-30.

I didnt play up to them nor entice them in anyway, just worked the table as I did the others. Well Miss Brunette and Miss Blondie bail me up and basically request my joining in a 3some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes they were model gorgeous, well built in all the right places and demanding me for some fun.

Well I went red, well i felt red, and thanked them for the offer but replied that I was happily married and would decline. I thought they would tell me to go and get stuffed for knocking them back, but they were very impressed in my loyalty to my wifey.

I dont wear a wedding band as my other work does not permit jewellery and so I have grown accustomed to not wearing it and wifey doesnt mind.

I t was a long drive home that night...............I may still have the mojo........LOL

Cheers,

L

But that doesn't sound like a typical model shoot to me. Sounds like the girls you met were having a night out, had probably downed a few drinks, and were looking to enjoy themselves. Rather different situation to any sort of model shoot I've ever undertaken.

At the beginning of time there was absolutely nothing. And then it exploded! Terry Pratchett

As I have said to my wife. I have enough trouble keeping one woman disappointed - why would I look to disappoint more.
That being said - wife is not in favor of me shooting nudes (despite my serious interest and decades of research on the subject)

As someone who's shot a lot of racy, and even pornographic material, I can honestly say it's no different than shooting standard glamour nudes. The only change in variable is what the model is doing in front of the camera. The work and crew behind the camera is exactly the same in my experience.

had the worst disaster ever today. A local radio station has every Thursday as listener submission day for screen shot babe of the day. Well, I submitted, with permission beforehand, a few shots of my wife. They picked her for today's SSBOTD and posted 1 of the 2 images I sent. The response she got (this was off facebook) was downright humiliating. I had them remove the image and won't ever submit pictures of my wife to them again. My wife, I'm sure, will never set foot in front of my camera again, and to make matters worse, will forever despise the other women that get in front of my camera.

What should have been a fun, ego-boosting thing went horribly wrong and will forever change our lives. She had issues before, and those will only get worse now.
