all pretty funny to me, never had a problem here, been doing figure drawing for years as well, always with nude models. The idea of something going on during a shoot is rather bizarre to me, a photographer getting into it with a model would risk his reputation quickly and for ever, a model hitting on the photographer would not be in business long either. There's this internet thing that has stories like that spread like wildfire if they should happen...
And the attractiveness? Yes, models are usually much more attractive than "regular" people. That's why they are models, not gardeners. They work on their bodies, they learn about posing, it's their profession to look great on camera or at least try to. Simple as that. Somebody being jealous of how a model looks has some personal insecurities to take care of I think.
If you go to a doctor, don't you select the best you can find? Banker? Baker? Employee? I don't see a difference there. I work with professional models so I get professional results, not so I can look at naked girls. I'd go to a strip club for that kind of looking.
Might add to note: I don't shoot anything one could see as "porn", no spread shots and all that. I'm simply no interested in that kind of work, there are billions of such images online already, why bother? I try to create artful (to me) images and work with the models in capturing their art. After all, I just click the shutter, they do most of the work.
If my wife ever would have a problem, come along and watch the session. Otherwise I'm really not gonna ask, as all the assumptions of what might go on are simply silly IMO. She aint jealous if a doc does the yearly prostate exam on me either, LOL.
It's simply a trust thing and common sense. If you were to stray, would you announce that you're gonna hang with a naked girl for the next couple of hours?
Now, if you are into shooting more racy/porny stuff, then I can see her point, but I doubt many porn producers are happily married or married at all, those few aside who are married to their star performer. It's a different world I guess
Anyway, just my 2ct
