My sister and her two friends wanted some pictures just for fun, so we headed out to this little patch of goodness in the mountains! One of my first times shooting with the sun low, so it was definitely quite challenging. And the sun went down so fast :( Enjoy!!!

I love the 3rd most. I think the first one would've been cool if the two girls to the right would've been exposed properly. Nice work overall.

^Yeah I can't figure out how to not blow out areas near the sun for these types of shots. But thanks!

The last two are my favorite. Personally I'd write off the first image given the center girl has almost no facial detail & the focus doesn't look too good on the left hand side girl.

Those chicito's are nice, I bet it was a fun session!

Your two signature links are broken by the way.

I assume it's by keeping the sun more behind the person's face, or slightly out of the frame

2 and 3 are my favourites.
For number 1 you need to reposition slightly (move sideways or crouch slightly) so that the sun is partially obscured by a tree or by one of the subjects head/body. Also use flash fill to illuminate your subjects.
