Not sure if this counts...but on my way from the Philippines to Korea we passed another plane...it was incredible...I've flown a ton (literally 150+ flights) and have never seen anything like it.

To give you an idea of how close this plane was...the picture was taken with an UWA (16mm) on a 1.3 crop body. So what you see here looks significantly smaller/farther than it did in real life.

Directly below the pilot, note the red hydraulic fluid streaming from the underbelly of the jet. Forced an aggressive (but safe) landing moments later...
This was at EAA AirVenture 2011

Heh! Only when I'm in NYC and am dressed for the occasion -- otherwise I'm just romping in the fountain:)!

Heh! The only pic I took in 2011 that I thought was weird, strange and unusual enough to actually keep was the last shot my 5DC took when its mirror fell off in a little "burst" at our local 4th of July festival:

Pretty "weird, strange and unusual", isn't it:)?

Great shot, Dave!

Here's a jumper hamming it up for the camera.

Not taken last year but a few years ago. You might find it interesting.
