Canon TS-E 90mm f/2.8

Stationary and landscapes where your trying to be precise with the plane of sharp focus is almost a must to use live view is the reason I asked. The fake miniature I don't use live veiw

I rented it to see if it's a suitable replacement for the 100L, but MF in the studio taking portraits is a bit difficult for me. I was 0/7 then swapped it out for the 100L.

hey man, loooooong time!!! I'm still pumping my X1, nice set up, I'm gonna have to pull my 45TS out to grab a bit of the X1 Action!!

Just came across this while cleaning up an old computer. First shot ever with my ts-e 90mm 4 or 5 years ago.

Didn't really understand the lens and pre liveview and a really quick attempt to test out the lens.

Not a good shot, but I thought it was interesting as an example of when using tilt doesn't work.

The shot hurts my head to look at (trying to reconcile the angle of the saw body and the apparent angle of the bar). I was trying to get the very angled bar into focus, but be careful what you wish for.

Still my favorite noodling saw (79cc and 28 inch bar here). Killer saw and killer lens (can't blame the lens here..).

Taken before it got too cold to venture outside...

Nice shot. the tse 90 wouldn't have come to mind on this shot, but it sure works here. Love the white accents and the reddish orange bits.

How many sec exposure?

I had just got the TS-E 90 lens so this place was the closest interesting place to try it out.
I was playing with a polarizer as well as a vari-ND filter and just had about 1/2 hour to get things done so I rushed things a bit.
This one was f16, 2.5sec, ISO 100 and I think also the polarizer (darn thing was stuck).

I really need to get a set of tubes to use with this lens and also my 135L.

The TC2III did not work well with the TS-E90 though. Maybe I was expecting to much.

Just picked up a set of Kenko extension tubes...

I've been meaning to do the same. I figure they'd be excellent with the TS-E90 and also the 135L.

Studio shot, backlit on frosted plexi, black panels both sides.
Some tilt to get the shell and top of jar in focus. Various post-processing...
