mee too

Guys I've got a question, do you think a Canon EF-S 15-85mm Lens is good for rig-shots? Thinkin about buying a new lens for my 60D!
I don't know if 15mm are enough at my 4.5m rig

the best lens for rigshots with a 60D is the 10-22mm ... that's the widest zoom lens, and the widest non-fish-eye prime or fixed lens is the 14mm 2.8L

Well... I've just read all 425 pages over the space of around a week on my breaks/dinner at work, what can I say, absolutely stunning work in this thread.

Dedication to get these rigs built to get these shots is awesome, I used to look at these pictures and wonder how they hell they were created (and work in photoshop for a living), and was told that they can only be created by using a rig... Still I wasn't conviced and thought surely it can be done using photoshop!?

Then I found this thread! :D I'm already on the case buying parts to build my own rig, as I can't wait to get out taking photo's just like the ones everyones posted, along with ones with my own twist.... I wouldn't of been able to build a rig to the specs you need without this thread, so massive thanks to everyone who's posted pictures and information about their set ups, props! ;-)a

Just thought I'd share how I get my rolling shots at the moment, all be it a different style to rigging, the outcome is very similar (My golf driven by Luke in the first picture, and me hanging from our tracking car shooting Lukes golf in the second shot)

You don't need f/2.8 for rig shots...how about we trade for my Sigma 10-20 :)
