If you set the ISO higher than the box speed you will underexpose the negative. 600 is less than a stop difference and most film can handle that without any necessary change in development. If you shoot 400 @ 800 you may want to push the development 1 stop to compensate. A film like Portra 400 can still look good even at 1600 without a push. Joby

I used to like the Superia 100 by Fuji but they discontinued it once the Reala was going. If you want a less saturated look you could shoot Portra 160.
