First go around, forgot the setup shot...just received my lights in the mail and wanted a quick go around with the lithium pack(had to charge it for a few hrs first). Minimal editing

No one hits a home run their first time up. This is pretty good for a first go at it. You find out what works and what doesnt as time goes on

Tomorrow I hope to catch a bit of daylight...perhaps I'll do some self portraits, or stab at this again :-D

I have the manfrotto 055XPROB w/ the 498RC2 head. Really solid and more than I'll ever need.

I just stumbled on to this thread from another site and wanted to share a shoot I did almost 6-7 months ago.

First time I've ever shot anything like this. Sorry, don't have the setup shot but just right outside the frame, a bare canon 430ex on the left, and a bar canon 580ex2 on the right. It kinda sucked using the 430ex since it was so weak so it took a little bit to figure out the proper power and placement.

Keep up the great work everybody!
