Hey thanks lot for the great review . . Gonna check some Domke bag first . . huhu . i also wait for lowepro messenger , still not available yet on my country . It really looks like retro i think . . huhu .
You're welcome. I don't have the Retro anymore. If I were buying today, it would be the LowePro. I like the raincover on the Pro Messenger better; don't like the one on the TT bag at all. But that's just me.
I am a fan of TT bags, but never considered the raincover when I bought.Shame on me.
The Retro line is extremely popular here on the forum. However, the TT bags are horribly expensive in Canada from the local vendor. Retro 10 is $209 Cdn plus 13% tax, out the door.
edit: I played with the two bag lines today. Took my iPad. Frankly I was disappointed with the LowePro bags. (I don't want to carry the iPad in the back pocket. I want the bag to conform to my hip. I don't want the iPad banging against my hip.) I couldn't carry my iPad in the smallest or mid-sized bag. The largest bag is huge! That's the only one, to fit the iPad in the front pocket but the bag is too large for me.
Back to Think Tank. The Retro20 would carry my iPad easily in the front pocket. Down side? I don't like the raincover! Another Think Tank bag, the Urban Disguise V2 would work well too.
Jon's right. Get a vest to carry the iPad.
my name is Dave. I am a bagaholic.
