I saw this pic in the "wives" thread:

I have always found this pose very sensual, whether it was on a bed, the floor, outdoors, etc... I don't know if you've ever had a thread that requests a particular pose, but I'd like to see this one come alive with your pics and how you shot them.

Thanks!

Al

Damn, that's sexy - in a nice way.
(Says me, all of 60, married 37 years, three kids all married, three grand kids - down but not out and allowed to look but not touch!)

@HoldyourfireAl, I have the feeling this thread will garner some interest, but it sometimes takes a little while for a thread to get more notice.

I, for one, agree with you. I've always been a sucker for that pose, so I hope to see a bit more participation here as well!

Try looking in the "How To Photograph a High School Senior" thread

I like that pose too. Has a model ever given you a strange look when you asked her to take her shoes off? At what point in the decision making does one come to the conclusion that the only thing which makes that shot better is getting her shoes out of the picture?

I like legs, ankles, and all other parts of the feminine form, but I'd feel really weird telling a subject to take their shoes off (or at least JUST their shoes).

Shoes on for me (the model)...high heeled pumps. To me the bottoms of feet are not attractive. Sorry...

I'm half and half with you here. I'm not a fan of the bottoms of naked feet, but on the right woman? They look amazing. I prefer naked feet or thigh-high colorful socks. :D I don't know how or why that's the case, but yea. That's kinda my thing!

Well! I know what my next shoot is gonna be!

If the feet are out of focus, I think it's okay. I don't want to see the details that is all...

Here is my contribution, from a little different angle/pose but it's all I got. :)

Speaking of female footwear...to me the three most beautiful forms of female footwear are the white go go boot (see Avatar), thigh-high boots (black) and the high heeled pump. That's it.

I wouldn't feel weird about that. Women think their feet are hotter in stilletoes or whatever & I think most men prefer them barefoot & more natural.

Love the pics, but I think the shoes just weigh her down. She's out in nature. Why would she be wearing them?
