I use a D700, yeah yeah I know not a Canon, along with 70-200mm VRII and a 60mm macro for those shots. The light was the large PCB octabox.

Nice work Robert, don't worry about not using a canon, the D700 is a solid camera and anyone around here who would badmouth it for not being a Canon isn't worth listening to, many posters here also use Nikon bodies!

Left
1x YN560 through 40cmx40cm Softbox, slightly lighted up with reflector. 5d2 and Sigma 85
Right
1x YN560 through 85cm umbrella with 5d2 and Canon 50 1.4

Here is my daughter, shot with a 46" Photek Softlighter II, 580EX, and a reflector for a little fill. I'm really liking the light that this modifier puts out.

Also really liking this thread. Lots of very creative shots with just one light.

Great image, the softlighter is an amazing modifier. Something I need to add to my wish list for the next B&H order :D
