Today I am trying to get use to my new acquired lens. So far so good but I know in time I will get accustomed to this lens.

Here are example pics of ef 300mm f4L IS USM.

Shot this a few hours ago but I think i lost some sharpness of the 70-200 because I shot through a window. (cropped)

Anyone has some good advice on how to improve sharpness from raws? What I'm doing now is pretty much fiddling with the "Sharpening" and "Edges" sliders in Aperture until the image looks good to me.

Nice shot. Still looks good.

i will give my samples if you can personally explain steps.. i tried it once and got no where..
think i was told to put the 85mm on @1.8... hold focus button and take lens off during.. so it is locked focus.. then use either kit or 250 and manually adjust that one... guessing the 85 attached to camera?

u know what.. i didnt realize to ask this... do you have the ring that flips the lens around.. or the ring that allows you to take 2 lenses together?

here was a quick toy around.. not a great subject but wanted to figure this out.... and had cruddy light... i see that is something to get right too...
