Geeez this thread is asleep....

speaking of ranger RX AS....and I don't wanna say this, but, a used item appeared where I usually look online for used stuff on swiss.
Damn me for looking LOL, I knew it.
Anyway, it's as follows:
- ranger kit 10287 (i think you guys know it)
- 100cm deep throat octa
(all used for about 50 hours max)
perfectly fine, in great condition (guaranteed used)

for (converted for you guys) 1950 dollars wowzerssssss

(for that same kit but NEW here in swiss I'd pay 3250 dollars + 400 dollars for the deep throat....:shock::shock: )

what to do what to do......
Or to say better what do I sell to afford this?!?LOOOL

lets get this thread back on money consumption.

Sounds like a quite good deal. :D Sell one of the lenses?

This does sound like a good deal.

I guess I got the great deal 14 months ago when I picked up 2 Ranger RX Speed AS packs with A Heads (not the kit, only the pac and head) for $1800 each US$.

The kit you're looking at is $2583 at B&H, plus you get the DO, which is $315.

I finally got my office to studio conversion 85 percent complete. I hit the local office supply store for black foam core to hang on the ceiling. God I'd love to paint this place black.

Any way, final autopoles and second DLite 4 arrived Friday, along with the second 135 degree varistar. The varistars in tandem appear to work pretty darn well for my BG in the space I have. 11' long, 10' wide and I shoot through the door from the living room.

Also, Rob picked up on the fact that I was remiss in getting the seamless higher. Total brain fart after the initial setup.

Having a studio, albeit a small one, is so friggin' cool!

1 BXRi500 for main
2 Ranger RX Speed AS pacs with 2 A heads and 1 S head for accent and fill.

attn sheldon

This is why I dont have one

this thing doesn't get me the handling of two cameras at once that I want. I'm hopefully going to be rocking a 5d2 with my 24-70, and a 7d with a 70-200 for weddings soon.

Nicely done Ralph!

65mm and 110mm RZ lenses arrived in the mail. Finished off a roll of film with the 65mm.

I used Skyports, so I guess that counts as Elinchrom content. :)
