bleachers that just sit above the top of the glass. I shoot some but shooting through the glasses is terrible.

Does anyone's 85L "squeak"?
Sometimes in autofocus, it squeaks when it is going to infinity.
Should I worry about this?

Mine's never squeaked. Not sure if squeaking is a good thing but I don't think it is.

Yeah! I bought mine new. Receipt is dated 12/2011... except I bought it off a user in FM that never used it.

I also forgot to mention that it only happens when I shoot straight up to the sky/ceiling.

I saw your other post in the lens section. Since the canon service center is near you, it's probably a good idea to take it in just to have it looked over. I just checked mine and mine doesn't squeak one bit.

Thanks.. I've never took anything in for repair before.. do I just need the lens itself, warranty and receipt? Or do I need the box as well?

For warranty repair, you'll need the lens + receipt.
